COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Adnams Explorer captures the spirit of discovery by blending Chinook and Columbus hops with the New World. The citrus attack will burst on your palate. Fantastic served chilled and the fruity hoppiness of the beer means that it goes well with cleanly flavoured foods. Try it with salmon, vegetarian options and with summer salads. (Contains barley). Silver medal winner at the 2015 Great British Beer Festival. Now limited release in keg to J D Wetherspoon outlets.

Cask at clerkenwell spoons. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fairly nice hedgerow berry hop with hints on citrus, and mango. Some semi sweet grains on the nose. Palate is smooth and slightly creamy, decent condition. Flavour is semi sweet slightly nutty base grains, berry hop, hints of tangy apple and grass. Good beer.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of peach, orange, grapefruit, maybe lemon, some pale malts and subtle spicy, floral hops. Taste of peach, orange, some grapefruit, some sponge cake, slight bready malts and subtle spicy, floral hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A sweetish, soft citrus and floral hop bitterness in the finish. A fruity, citrusy golden ale, a little sweet with only a subtle floral hop bitterness but it quite sessionable. Decent.
