kujo9 (1044), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA Apr 4, 2005 On cask @ the 2005 British Ale Fest @ Buckeye Brewing 4/1/05: Smallish white head on a light amber body. Surprisingly grapefruity citrusy aroma for an English ale. Pale malt aroma; medium apple fruitiness & a touch yeasty. Well balanced overall, green apple fruit flavor & lightly citrusy hop flavor; dry finish w/a clean, hoppy, aftertaste. Malt flavor balances hop flavor throughout. Low carbonation, smooth m/f, lighter medium body. Nice, easy drinking, flavorful session beer.
anders37 (2563), Malmö, Sweden Dec 27, 2007 Cask @ Bridge House, Southwark. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a small white head. Fruity citrus aroma with some malty hints. Malty slightly hoppy flavor with hints of citrus. Fruity malty finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste. DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Oct 9, 2007 Nose of grapefruit, lemon, malt and hops. Pours a deep golden orange. Taste is refreshing with grapfruit and lemon dominating. More maly than summer beers. Leaves a dry finish. Nice. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2007 Considering the style, Scores ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most intense

Fruity, hoppy aroma - apple and peach. Light amber, loose head. Pleasantly hoppy with a caramel, sweet finish. A bit flowery too. cgarvieuk (2302), Edinburgh, Scotland Aug 15, 2007 Kennilworth edinburgh ... golden orange ... light hop ... orangy with touch of that gold hop quite a lot of hop resins.
