On tap somewhere! Clear amber beer, low carbonation. Softish semi dry palate. Light bubblegum but otherwise this is mostly dry wheaty malt. Doesnít look like or taste like a proper wheat beer.

Cask conditioned handpump Southwark Tavern London. A dark gold coloured beer with a loose white head. A really authentic hefeweizen with banana and clove notes throughout. Very wheaty in the mouth with a fuller body than with these beers brewed in Germany. A really decent well brewed beer. Knocks seven tons out of the poor Kolsch

A Sim rate (cask at the Ranelagh): So, Iím the first rater, eh? I wasnít even supposed to be drinking today except I (like an idiot) left my keys at work so Iím sitting in the pub waiting for Mes to fetch me so I can go home. Itís quite a nice beer. Aroma is very citric and wheaty. Itís both lime and grapefruit with a delicate sweetness. The flavour is soft but tangy with a wheaty kick in the finish. I keep sucking my gums to taste the wheatiness which can only be a good sign. I expected less, but got a very tasty after work tipple. Enjoyed it!
