Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013, Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge and Gold Medal Winner at The Indie Beer Can Awards 2014 (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

A refreshing pale that has lifted hops notes. Not a heavy pale ale but is refreshing.

Wow ! was my first impression. Surprisingly really good. Sweet malty, then fairly bitter orange peel, grapefruit peach flavour. Brilliant for a 4.5% beer.

Simple, but same time quite enjoyable. Biscuit maltiness, some caramel, light toast, some grassy hops. Light sweetness with light bitterness. Not a kicker, but quite nice

Bottle from Asda. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white head and moderate fizziness. A pleasant beer, with some citrus fruit character, biscuity malts, leafy hops and a decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Piwo lekko metne w kolorze bursztynowym z biala drobnopecherzykowa piana na grubosc jednego palca. W aromacie cytrusy i troche grejpfrut z karmelem. W smaku przyjemna goryczka niezbyt intensywna dobrze komponuje sie z lekkoscia i pijalnoscia. Troche kwiatowe i slodowe z raczej wytrawnym finiszem. Solidny angielski ale.

500ml bottle from Asda. Pours a copperish amber with some carbonation and a foamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma, a little citrus/ Similar taste, sweet throughout, just a touch of bitterness to finish.

Floral, grapefruit zest, apricot, tangerine (and slight ginger?) nose. Honeyed, creamy and mellow middle and end. Not sure if it could / should be crisper, but otherwise this seems like the Ghost-ess with the most-ess.

The ghost ship can stay dead and lost at sea. It’s not bad, it just isn’t that good.

Pours clear copper color with small and short lasting white head that leaves some nice lacing. Smell is very pleasant and refreshing, lots of hops on the nose, citrus and passion fruit. Medium body with soft carbonation and thick texture. Refreshingly light and bitter. Aroma similar to nose, hops, citrus, passion fruit, floral and herbal, very nicely balanced. Overall mouthfeel is a bit dry, same as the finish. Tasty and refreshing.
