440ml can. A pleasant English style pale ale with caramel malts and flowery/citrusy hops on the nose and tongue with a touch of yeasty earthiness. Medium-light bodied with a lowish carbonation making for easy drinkabiliity. Clear copper-amber appearance with a decent creamy white head. Quite reasonably priced at Dan Murphy’s at present.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Tesco. (£1.65) Tried the tap version twice before and didn't like it at all. This is better - although with a bitterness that lasts a tad too long. Ok-ish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours transculescent amber - reddish colour with tiny yellow - white head. Medium fast rising small bubbles.
Aroma without alcohol, with dominant notes of pinewood, earth.
Taste is also without alcohol note. Dominate note of pinewood, mango, little citrous. Hop flavour firstly predominate flavour of malts, but finish is very well balanced. Hop bitterness is medium, finish is somehow dry with no so long lasting bitterness. Carbonation is soft. Malt sweetness is low. Body is tiny.
Drinkable ale but not superlative.
