COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.
Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

500ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 05-04-2014.
In short: a sweet ale.
Pours quite clear dark gold- light amber, with little white head. Short head retention, some lacing. Malty, diacetil, caramel and grassy aromas. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste follows the nose, a bit dull and boring.

44cl can abv 4.5% pours a warm pearl white two thick fingers head, deep golden body (not at all ghostly pale). Lacings as small columns. Scents; pine forest, grapefruit peel, lots of citric hops, juicy malts. Taste; smoky bitter, sweet roasted malts, hops, grapefruit peel, lemon peel, lemon twist, dry sweet. Hoppy enough to palate, half dry, fresh distinct herbal hoppy feel. Finishes roasted, dry, grapefruit, smoked wood, malts, hops, great. B@kilpishalli, tasted@home Norway.

kidmartinek (3299) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Cloudy toffee colour with a small but dense white head. Full flavor of an English bitter with toffee, bitterness, a refreshing bite and a smoothness and drinkability found in no other beer right now in Shenzhen. Goes down real easy at the end of a sober day despite the strong bite on the finish.

Very drinkable, smooth pale ale. Not much of an aroma and the head doesnt stick around long either. That said it has such a mellow bitterness that slips easily down. Worth a buy!
