Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013 and Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

Small offwhite creamy head. Slightly hazy brown body. Fruity grape aroma with resiny floral notes. Dry-sweet caramelly grape taste with strawy floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel, slightly oily. Dryish dusty grape and citrus aftertaste with resiny strawy notes. Lovely and highly drinkable. (0.568l cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen.)

Pale with a distinct hop aroma but as others have said, not overly citrusy. Good level of bitterness but I have to say, I found it a little thin. The strong aroma however makes it quite a drinking experience.

Light amber with a frothy head. Hop dominated golden ale. Citrus and floral on the nose. Nice citrus with a bitter kick. Crisp, with a nice bitter finish. A great way to slake that thirst on a hot summer day. I actually prefer this in a bottle or can (3.9).
