Hand pulled cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW) Watford. Amber with a lively off white head. Impressively hoppy in an American way and well balanced against a clean malt profile. Grapefruit and lime with a lovely oily resinous swallow. Excellent!

Cask, Thorpeness Golf Club, Suffolk. Darkish amber colour with a vague off white head. Gentle hop and fruit present in the nose. Fullish, mouthfeel. More juicy fruit in the fragrant flavour alongside some decent hoppage. Dryish bitter finish. Pretty downable stuff. Much better than anticipated and in good condition too. .

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 freedrift (10) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2011
light golden color, small amount of citrus on the nose, felt like this could do with more hop bit light in flavor and not much else there.
Ok pint in the sun but think there are better pale ales out there
