Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013 and Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

Cask, at the Wharf. Dark golden in the glass, close to clear, with a thin, bubbly off-white head. Perfumed, peachy and citrusy aroma with little malt impact. Quite bitter flavor, citrusy and zesty, with some peach. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Rather dry, with a long bitter and citrusy finish with some light maltyness. Quenching and quaffable. 160622

While not especially exciting, this is a classic British pale/ golden ale, designed for gluging. Some light malt sweetness, balanced by a gentle hop profile

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2016 Pours a clear amber colour with a medium creamy off white head. Sweet fruity aroma, tropical and mandarin. Sweet malt combined with a fruity hop bitterness. A clean crisp finish.

Traditional pale ale meets American hops. In concept, a perfect match. In practice, not far off. Lovely soapy light body from the cask with gently fruity notes. Good for a summer session.

4.5%ABV. Nose is beery and sweet.  Slight malt dreg funk. Mouthfeel is light and lager like.  Palate has ton of pale malt.  Slight phenolic flavor. Good bitter hops. Mild. Brief. Finish is clean and beery.

Fruity, estery and malty aroma. Very classical. Clear amber color. Poor head for a beer from cask but still has a super lacing. In taste it’s light, plane, soft and not aggressive. Straight classic English pale ale.

Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet citrus hop, some spice, caramel touch. Decent bitter. Not a golden ale.

Draught at the Linen Weaver. A really bright, fruity aroma. Citrus hop with a slightly sweet malt character. Well-rounded but a bit too sweet by the end.
