COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Originally a special but was made permanent.
Note: The original version of this beer used Pale Ale malt, Crystal malt, Munich & some Wheat malt and the hops were specified as Columbus, Chinook & Citra.

At 4.5% abv, this Pale Ale has a good assertive pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. It is brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – we use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

Small offwhite creamy head. Slightly hazy brown body. Fruity grape aroma with resiny floral notes. Dry-sweet caramelly grape taste with strawy floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel, slightly oily. Dryish dusty grape and citrus aftertaste with resiny strawy notes. Lovely and highly drinkable. (0.568l cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen.)

Pale with a distinct hop aroma but as others have said, not overly citrusy. Good level of bitterness but I have to say, I found it a little thin. The strong aroma however makes it quite a drinking experience.

Flavour comprises of hop resin spicy pine, straw cereal and some orange. Pretty decent. Medium sticky resinous feel in the mouth.

Light amber with a frothy head. Hop dominated golden ale. Citrus and floral on the nose. Nice citrus with a bitter kick. Crisp, with a nice bitter finish. A great way to slake that thirst on a hot summer day. I actually prefer this in a bottle or can (3.9).

Great aroma. Smells like caramel. Medium gold colour. Clean in the palate. Light caramel sweet in taste with a mild bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask @ The Junction, Clapham Junction. Dark gold. Clear with a bit of head; heavy lacing. The aroma is faint but lovely, with grassy and fruity hops coming through. The taste however is a bit of a letdown. There is a sulphur astringency not present in the aroma. Bitter finish. OK, but could be better.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2013 A tasty brew that provides a worthwhile difference from others the style. What mainstream beer should be (albeit wishfully).

Cask @ The Clarendon Leicester. Bright amber colour. Aroma is citrusy. Taste is nice sweet malt, with assertive but not overpowering hops with associated bitterness. Very nice this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
