Pored this one into a pint glass. It’s appearance is dark amber with a tan head. The aroma is a subtle caramel. The flavor is roasted malt. It flows across the palate with a little carbonation. Overall not a bad beer.

Ehn. For something billing itself as "full flavour", it fails to deliver. A mediocre beer with a little too much hops and a little too much flavour behind it. Mouthfeel is exceptionally watery and thin. Hops are bitter, lingering, and boring, with notes of pine and ennuie.
It’s a reasonably pretty dark pour. Super-thin to non-existent head.
Boring. Mediocre. Nice label art is about all it really has going for it.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 AshtonMcCobb (1490) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 17, 2013
50cl bottle thanks to Jared. Pours a dark amber with a lovely red hue - the head is decent. The nose is biscuity and slightly nutty with just a hint of toffee - gentle praline. More of the biscuity on the taste but there’s no nuts but fresh apple instead. The palate is light to medium bodied with a slightly crunchy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall, a well made bitter/mild.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 lisagirl (172) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - APR 23, 2013
pretty flavourless really. a few grains floating around - barley, bread i suppose - but beyond that, not much. has a rather lagerish taste. that said it’s not like it’s completely bland, fairly refreshing as well.

500 ml sampled in 2009. Clear, reddish brown body with a small beige head. Aroma is quite malty with caramel and some fruit. Flavor has light roasted malt, caramel, fruit and balanced bitterness. Medium body and smooth malty aftertaste. A fine sample of a mild.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 worldbeertaste (1133) - Lancashire, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2013
Dark caramel brown with a thick, frothy, lacy tan head. Smells of caramel malt mixed with dark malt creating nut, dark berry, liquorish notes. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes like a bitter mixed with a mild rather than being anything either one. Sweet caramel, malt, nut, biscuit and dark berries - blackberry mostly, liquorish and a soft bitter slightly roasted dry finish.
