3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml brown bottle. Gold in colour, just a bit of haze. White head, good creaminess and great lacing.Nose has a light fruitiness and mild grapefruit notes. Taste has wheaty malts, trace caramel, big orangey hops with a very light spiciness. Finishes with a bit of grapefruity hops, later notes of orange peel. Bitterness plays a balancing role, not terribly agressive on the hop front, still the hop choices and wheat malt do make for a pretty tasty lighter IPA, it drinks lighter than its 6.7% abv would suggest.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle by 05 JUL 13. Grapefruit nose with a little bit of staleness and the kind of leafy plant matter usually found on a walk through the botanical garden (with some strong domestic touches, though, of rose and honeysuckle). Some pine. Lightly hazy honey-yellow body with a rocky off-white head. Taste has some resin, not all that sweet but with alcohol swashes, good high level of hopping but there seems to be an incommensurate level of bitterness. Medium body and scratchy.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: The smell is weak but pleasant, apples, nuts and some old grass.
Appearance: The beer is slightly hazy amber, an off-white head that leaves little lacing.
Taste: Medium sweet, toffee, brown bread, some fruit acidity, ripe apples, nuts and a good grassy bitterness.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, small soft bubbles, smooth and refreshing, a good dry finish.
Overall: A nice well balanced beer, that actually more reminds me of an English IPA or ESB. But that is not a bad thing.
Note: Bottle, at a beer game at De Klomp. Reviewed 2011-06-04.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Light hazy golden amber. Thick frothy white head. Nice rich warm nose, some definite yeast character, melons, resinous spicy hops, touch of apricot fruit, hint of booze. Nice rich warm malt flavours, creamy caramel, resinouse pine, soft white pepper, not convinced it’s hoppy enough to be an IPA but very very tasty. Nice warming booze and soft dusty dryness on the finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very subtle, with not much other than some grainy malts and very light citrus hops. Flavour of mild citrus hops, grainy / bready malts, and some very subtle tropical fruits - very low hop presence, hardly worth calling an IPA, as is so often the case with these English "IPAs". Solid, refreshing thirst quencher, with no harsh edges, but nothing spectacular.
