COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The hops in Innovation are the stars of the show. We used Boadicea, Columbus and Styrian Goldings to create punchy grapefruit flavours and aromas of tropical fruits. These are backed up by wheat and pale ale malted barley which add spicy, biscuit flavours and a slight touch of sweetness. The outcome is a wonderfully moreish IPA, packed full of flavour. Silver Medal Winner - The Stockholm Beer Festival 2013. (Contains barley & wheat).

500ml brown bottle. Gold in colour, just a bit of haze. White head, good creaminess and great lacing.Nose has a light fruitiness and mild grapefruit notes. Taste has wheaty malts, trace caramel, big orangey hops with a very light spiciness. Finishes with a bit of grapefruity hops, later notes of orange peel. Bitterness plays a balancing role, not terribly agressive on the hop front, still the hop choices and wheat malt do make for a pretty tasty lighter IPA, it drinks lighter than its 6.7% abv would suggest.

Pours orange/ light brown haze colour with tiny white head. Visualy medium carbonation. Aroma without notice of an alcohol, with hints of fruits (esters of tropical fruits). Malt sweetness is medium, hop bitterness also, carbonation is soft, finish is dry sweet and bitter long lasting. Proper beer.

Deep golden colour, almost non existatn head that does not hold, not lace. Smell of tropical fruits, with some caramel notes. Medium body, soft carbonation. Taste of tropical fruits, some caramel and spices, bitter finish. I’m not sure if conservation failed, but it’s too flat and simple.

Nice golden color with small white head. Aroma was not so great, full of esters, bananas and maybe a little notes from hops. Sweet taste without bitterness also full of bananas and esters. Maybe all of that was caused by long sun exposure in shop or something else.

Tap@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Pours orange with medium white head. Malty caramel, medium undertones of citrus in there but, a little bit messy, on the palate for me. Ok overall.
