Adnams Nut Brown Ale

Very malty nose upon opening the bottle. The flavor was not great, and had only a hint of nut in the finish. Not my favorite of the nut browns.

Malt nose. Unpleasant malt fore and mid with a nutty finish.

This appears to have been an old bottle. Dark brown, rather cloudy -- not sure if it’s bottle conditioned or just old. Aroma and flavor are very malty, low carbonation, not much head. Decent, but not great. The shortcomings present may be due to its age, and I’m not sure if this beer is still made. If not, it’s a shame, as even this old bottle was very drinkable.
