Cask; Seasonal - June to August.
The perfect summer bitter of proven popularity. Light, bright and crisp in flavour. A refreshing thirst-quenching pint. Delicious served cool on a warm summer’s day. Distinctively different.

Very fresh and great hops balance with green hay aroma. This one will teach a few people how to make a good brew.

Tried at a CAMRA beer festival in Sept. A summer beer really but really refreshing and light and would be a joy to drink all year round.

Fresh hopped nose with a hint of honey. Golden hue with a white creamy head and loads of lacing. Malty initially with a dry hoppy finish and hints of flora. A well balanced and enjoyable cask ale.

Cask Conditioned, Royal Standard, Wooburn Common (Gravity Dispense). A decent light summer ale, with some sweet malt and a little hops. Better than the average score would suggest.

Cask Summer ’04: Floral fruity nose. Pale golden hue. Slightly metallic, faintly sour, light body, finishing with crisp bitter hops. Refreshing and quite quaffable I must say.

Pint at the Bridge House, SE1. Golden body, small head, clear. Very light, lots of hops, some lemony citrus - very dry. Malt sweetness in the finish. Has a creamy mouth feel. Very easy to drink, pleasant pint. It was hot day when I had a couple of pints of Regatta (Marathon Sunday 2007 - nothing better than having a pint watching poor folks running 26.4 miles!), and it was a hugely enjoyable pint.

Cask conditioned handpump Sole Bay Inn Southwold A golden beer with a small off white coloured head. The aroma has some nice spicy hop and a bit of citrus and a touch of grass. The taste is reasonably hoppy with some orange citrus notes. Pretty tasty.

On tap at 2004 GBBF. Poured a nice clear blond with white head. Malt aroma. The flavour is bitter at firstwith malt coming through. Another unidentifiable flavour(not nasty) as well. Good mouthfeel with long finish.Quite enjoyable and in line with Adnams uncompromising standards.
