2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Grumbo (186) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2013
Cask from The Ivory Peg, Chelmsford. For a quality brewer like Adnams, this is disappointing. Scarlet brown colour, thin, bitter and not very enjoyable overall. Served too cold which maybe affected it, maybe would be better from an Adnams pub.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Otterdance (35) - - JAN 2, 2013
Cask at Acle Bridge. Mahogany with an off-white head. Floral aroma. Malt and citrus fruit are more abundant than the hops. Thin. Dissapointing.

Crikey! I had this beer a week ago and I’ve only just realised the play on words, durrr!! Anyway, cask at the Lord Northbrook, Lee. Reddish-brown pour with a white head. Strong citrus aroma with hints of pear and kiwi fruit. Fresh grapefruit and lemon flavour. Sharp hop bite. Quite pleasant.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Leighton (6982) - London, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2012
Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear copper with a staunch, tan cream head. Sweet, burnt bread nose, berry fruits and toasted leaves. Light sweet flavor, some dirt and leaf bitterness, earth, dried berries, old leather. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with mildly astringent leafy bitterness, creamy malts, brown bread. Scattered and not very pleasant.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Desverger (415) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2012
(cask@The Lord Northbook) A mahogany/brown pour with frothy off white head and medium body. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee and floral citrus tones, and taste toffee caramel crystal malt and good citrus balance. Great mouthfeel and condition, a very good winter bitter this (even with the low abv) (D15)
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mr_h (1454) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - DEC 20, 2012
Cask by handpump at State Bar, Glasgow - clear brown, creamy beige head, floral and malty aroma, roasted nutty malt flavour overpowers the mild hoppiness, prolonged malty aftertaste

Cask handpull at Holborn Whippet. Ruby clear with lasting thick beige head. Its a little light in the body a little bit of malt fruitiness. Ok but just barely has any flavour or body. Disappointing.
