Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of målt, bread, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

pint. clear dark ruby/chestnut with thin beige head. aroma is wet carpet, dough and weak spices. taste is weak hops, nuts and malts. didn’t really enjoy this one as much as i have other xmas beers.

Cask at the Garden Gate NW3. Reddish brown in colour. Quite a pleasant amber bitter with a malty backbone and some spicy and reasonably bitter hop. Not bad.

Cask at Victoria Station Spooneria, 24/12/14. Chestnut brown topped with a moderate beige swirl. Nose is biscuit, perfume, light coffee notes, nutty. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings and some faint hop tunes. Adequate but not as good as most of Adnams more recent offerings.

A dark reddish brown coloured beer with a creamy coloured frothy head. A strong hop aroma floral and citrusy, grapefruit and lime. Dry mouthfeel. Cask @ Cockney. Deep golden/brown with medium creamy tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, hop and a little biscuit. Flavour is malt, caramel, hop, fruit, biscuit, toasted, medium sweet and a little bitter.
