2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber beer with a thin head. A mild aroma with a citric edge to it. The flavour is also not especially strong though thatís probably to be expected. Citrusy and slightly hoppy as well, itís not anything special but itís quite pleasant for a fairly low-alcohol beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from local supermarket. Low alcohol only 2.7%, there is low tax. Flair has nice hops, and citrus sharpness. Ok but a touch watery.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Budgens, Wendover. Smells promising, fruity and grassy notes. Pours a light orange colour, with a fairly quickly diminishing head. Very watery and majorly lacking in flavour, not Adnams best by any means

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ Chrisoís Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pourís gold with a small head. The aromaís disappointing. Clearly this has seen better days. More paper, bread. Little else to distinguish it. The taste is moderately bread. Just a touch of hay and countryside hoppiness. Orange and toffee. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad as far as bottled bitters go.

Touch of paper. Carbonated sting. Whisper of violets (thanks Colin). Minerally crisp finish. Somehow it works!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle as M&S Southwold. A very decent bitter, malty , fruity, could easily pass for a 4.0%. On the other hands, more and crisper hops would have made a very interesting beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deep amber with a fine though fast-settling head and aromas of dry hops and fresh malt. Crisp and hoppy, the body is initially a bit watery, like an alcohol-free, the excessive gassiness doesnít help either. As it progresses some biscuity malt emerges, itís mostly bitter-forward though.
