Bottled 14/02/13. A brown beer which poured headless. A bitter beer lacking the house yeastiness of an Adnams cask product. Nice fruity flavours in the mouth. Some cardboard in the nose but all in all it’s not bad.

Deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is a bit vegetal and some floral hops. Biscuit, toffee and a surprising amount of bittering hops.

Bottle from 16 Tons, Eugene. Pours a golden amber color. Richy, doughy maltiness in aroma. Body is slightly creamy, finish is sweet and bready, a bit abrupt. Wasn’t overwhelmed, but a pleasant enough beer.

Brownish amber appearance. Smell is butterscotch and floral hops, nice bit of crystal malt. Flavor is slightly woody, mild hops, mild bitterness, pleasant bread, butterscotch, light fruit, and caramel malt flavor.

Pours amber/yellow with a thin, short lived white head. Aroma is malty, with a moderate roast. Fruits, specifically dark or red. Syrup. Taste is slightly sweet with ample carbonation with a gentle bitterness.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, red fruits, licorice and fruitiness. Flavor is sweet and malty with some yeast, fruitiness and berries. Medium body, average carbonation.

Bottle. A clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. Roasted malts, dark dried fruit notes, anise notes and a little cheesy hint. The flavor has the same lightly roasted hint, as well as some fruityness and anise. Cheese hints. Medium to full body, with a lasting finish. A quite nice and easy drinking beer that I wouldn’t mind drinking more of. 130202

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and floral. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

500ml. Pours a dark red/ruby/brown. Thick, cream coloured head with huge lacing all the way to the end gives it a rare 5 for appearance. Taste was of malts and hops with a small amount of citrus fruits. Nice full mouth feel. Great bitter.

Pours deep clear amber into a n English pint. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Sweet caramel aromas. Soft with sweet toffee and caramel upfront turning to mild bitter nuts in the medium length finish.
