3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Thanks for sharing, Bil. Light estery and rum-like brown malt aroma. Creamy, dry, fresh. A solid bitter, I thought could have used a little more bitterness, but had a nice yeast profile, a good mineral show, and some yummy fig-like toasted malts. A little bit neutered by the bottle presentation, but workable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a darker orange/reddish colour with slight head that dissipates quite fast. Aroma is hoppy with hints of caramel, malt and fruityness. Carbonation is medium and a bitter body, but aftertaste is quite hoppy and leaves a malty finish. Generally a good allround bitter for summer.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Tescoís. Poured a clear medium amber with a broken white head and a little initial carbonation. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium bitter flavour with some malt and bitter hops on the smooth, slightly watery palate. The bitterness lingers for a while in the finish. A decent English session bitter and quite refreshing when cool.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500ml bottle. Appears as hazy pekoe tea with little head and frosty, sticky lacing that runs in ten seconds. Aroma is herbal hoppy and malty. Simple and pleasant without cardboard or funk but woody. Taste is mildly bitter.
Palate is slightly flat soda water, light and thin with a slightly oily bitter finish. Overall, itís not bad but not worth seeking.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Ramirez Liquor. Copper colored pour with a finger of off-white head. Aroma is skunky and grassy. Toasted bread, yeast, water, and a hint of metal. The flavor isnít very good either. Watery, metallic, and skunky. Grassy hops, toasted bread, and a hint of sweetness. Thin body. Not pleasant.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Iíge never been excited about English bitters Iíve tasted in the US but tried this in the UK and it was exactly what I thought an English bitter should be like. Clear ruby-caramel pour with a thin fizzy head. Light aroma with a metallic hint masked in a beery smell. In the clear bottle I see how this could go bad in its transport across the pond to the US. Average mouthfeel with good carbonation to start with but goes flat a little quickly. Nice flavor profile tho - hoppy with just a hint of malts - its earthy with notes of grass and bark in a good way. It tastes a bit like a walk through the English countryside. I like it and am glad I tried it in the UK. Will be very interested. To try it in the US and see itlf there is any difference.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Fantastic red/gold/orange/rainbow colour and beautiful white crown! Aroma of hay and spices. The flavour is composed of grass, nuts and (disappointingly enough) cardboard. Nice bitter aftertaste.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
A little scent. A little taste. No bitterness. No aftertaste. Unbelievably bad beer. Why even brew a beer that tastes so little? Follow me @ Kung av Ųl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Pours clear dark copper with white head that quickly goes. Low carbonation for a bottled beer. Metallic nose, light flora hops. Boring brown beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: 2" puffy off white head recedes slowly with significant lacing. Copper color with minimal carbonation
Aroma: earthy hops, toasted bread
Mouthfeel: medium body, chewy, and somewhat sticky with a dry finish
Flavor: nice balance of caramel and toasted malt flavors with peppery and earthy hop presence
Overall: an excellent session ale. I could drink these all day.
