bartlebier (1803) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2013
33cl bottle from Mondial de la bičre shop, Mulhouse. Pours indeed a ruby mahogani with beige head. Nose of raisins and plums, interestingly complemented in the taste by salt toffee, soy, back palate hop bitterness, molasses. Characterful UK barley wine, catching the continental EU/US educated palate somewhat off guard.
