COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - December. ABV of the cask version varies from year to year. Also available bottle conditioned at 7.2%.
Brewed with Pale Ale, Crystal and Brown malts. Tally Ho is dark Mahogany red in colour with a rich, fruity aroma and a heart warming sweet raisin and biscuit palate.

Cask (handpump) @ Wellington, Birmingham B2, UK. Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, caramel, cold coffee, dark fruits ala, raisin / plum, light light licorice. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (100108)

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy deep red beer with a small orange head. The aroma is light with notes of berries. The flavor is lovely sweet malty with notes of caramel, alcohol, and oranges, and with a dry woody end. Nice one.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Clear orangey brown with a small, creamy off-white head leaving laces. Oxidized aroma, plenty of prunes and overripe plums. Quite full-bodied, toffee, maple syrup and a whiff of licorice. Some warming alcohol in the finish. Nice and pleasant. 310112

33 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and deep hazzlenut brown with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, dark breadish and toffee malty. Dark roasted malty, breadish and dark caramelish. Lingering caramelish and toffee malty finish with a light bitterness.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Very dark brown. Rich on butterscotch from aroma to finish. Full bodied and solidly malty with soft mouthfeel. Not too sweet. Salty finish with licorice and balanced bitterness. Warming and thoroughly pleasant, albeit not overly complex.

Cask@White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Very deep amber colour, close to black. Mediumsized brown head. Aroma is nuts, chocolate, burnt sugar as well as some liquorice. Flavour is much the same but also has some very ashy notes to it. Pleasant balance.

Cask. Dark chestnut/red colour. Creamy head. Quite malty, a little sweet flavour. Very nice creamy mouthfeel.
