| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Pours a beautiful clear copper, with a overflowing khaki head that fades to a rough surface. Mostly malt aroma, with caramel and molasses present. Medium body, with a fairly sweet lingering malt flavor. Almost a peat/smoked flavor as well. Not as much bitterness as I would prefer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Nice head, golden color. The aroma has notes of malt and hops. The flavour is briefly quite floral, before the bitterness enters the arena. Towards the end, right before the finish I seem to be in the eye of the hurricane - it’s completely bitter-calm, and notes like clover, flower, fruit and honey are found. But then the bitterness comes back in a long nice finish. A better bitter... Gmoney (253), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA
