A surprisingly refreshing and quaffable little bitter this. Malty and sweet and ambery orange. A bit of hop taste there too - reminds me a bit of fellow Suffolk country bumpkin ale - Speckled Hennessy.

Can. Hazy, pale amber. Small khaki head leaving a ring sticking to the glass. Pleasant toffee and malt aroma. Also some fruity acidity to the nose. Taste is malty and nutty, balanced with a nice sharp and earthy hopbitter aftertaste. Healthy body. Long, malty and slight bitter finish. A very nice one.

this beer had no head when poured from the bottle, and no aroma either, but a good strong malty taste to it.

(Bottle) Pours redish orange. Malty aroma with some bread, nuts, cookies and light caramel. Subtle hop notes. A bit fruity with hints of pears, red aples and other sweet fruits. Malty, bready and light earthy flavour with alot of english style hops, not high alpha. Dry finish. Hints of fruits and maybe herbs. Light to medium body.

A sweet nutty aroma. Amber with a white head that diminished quite quickly. Nice blend of hops and malts that with a fairly smooth finish.

Can. Clear reddish copper with a medium tan head head. Friuty, slightly sweetish malt aroma with burnt sugar and an earthy hop aroma. A refreshing bitterness in the finish. A fine bitter.
