The aroma is simple toasted malt and grassy hops. The appearance is deep amber with a medium foamy tan head. The flavor is hops, toasted malt and nuts and some toffee. The palate is fitting for a bitter. The aftertaste has an astringent bitterness that reminds me of soap, blahhh otherwise its not too bad.

Poured a nice amber color from the bottle with rust and orange hues. An initially frothy head reduced to something thin and unnoticeable. Very slight fruity aroma with only a mild hoppy fragrance. The initial flavor is only lightly sweet with a lighter body than one might expect. The light, short finish is bitter and clean. This beer is very subtle and drinkable in quantity.

Decent beer. Nice dark amber color toped with a frothy tan head with lacing. Aroma is of toffee but with a metalic note as well. Medium bodied and niclely balanced in the finish.

500 ml can. Crystal clear amber. Tall head with a fine lace on top and coarser towards the bottom. Head clings to the glas. Somewhat malty, but it is the metallic hops that cut through the nose. Raisins and pepper can also be detected. Light bodied with a bold bitterness and a good dose of malts. Notes of honey flavours. Finishes dry with a good refreshing bitterness. A bit disappointing. Note: Can says alcohol level is 4.5% vol.

Sampled at 4.5% ABV... Aroma: fruity, hops, good malt, little butterscotch, sourish yeast (?). Appearance: almost clear copper red, greytinged beige (nearly white) small head that quickly dissipates. Flavor: soft, slightly sweet, good bitterness (mellow), fine aftertaste, worty bitterness. Palate: good carbonation, pretty light but still rich. A good beer but too weak. Good & refreshing. At double concentration this would be really good I think.

Great dark amber colour with little off white head. Aromas of the english hops and some fruitiness. Quite full-bodied. Taste has a slight sweetness to it to begin with that is soon overtaken by hoppy bitterness.

Beautiful clear amber color with great head. Watery palate bitter but pleasant malty flavor.
