| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2005 Updated: Aug 24, 2005Bottle (550ml). Pours a lively, cloudy reddish orange - clouds and clouds of off-white head, hugely rocky. Aroma of orange peel, some hops, vague roasted malt, tinge of sharp alcohol. Taste is a bit like biting into an unpeeled orange, some sharp hops, not much malt (almost burnt), but still light and almost fruity in the mouth, nice contrasts. The citrus bitterness is the main finish. I like it, but I’m not wild about it. Would like to try it on cask in the UK. Tmoney99 (4713), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

This tea colored specimen was a classic example. Very creamy fluffy head that settled down, but didn’t leave all together. Sweet malty foretaste with a dry and very mildly astringent (not bitter as it had almost no hop profile) aftertaste.
