Bottled (4.5% version). Nut brown. Very stable malty backbone. Flowery and nutty, fruity, medium sweet and with really bitter finish. Solid.

Very hoppy ale like so many English beers. Personally the strength spoils the beer. Overall an average brew.

Stinks like puked on carpets - always a good sign.

The aroma rightly indicates that this is a hoppy beer. Very dry and refreshing - just as a bitter should be.

Fruity malt aroma & great rust colour. Malty start to flavour through to a nicely (not too) bitter finish.

This brew is known either as Suffolk Strong or Adnams Extra Ale, depending on whether it is on cask or bottle. It is dry, hoppy, and woody. An excellent example of English pale ale.

A good, easy drinking English bitter. Hoppy and bitter and extremely drinkable.

Pours pale, hazy brown. The small-ish head looks like a thick lid. Fruity, leafy aroma with notes of salty liquorice. Fruity flavour with earthy notes. Long bitterness with notes of chalk and salty liquorice. A very good canned ale!
