0.5 l bottle. Amber color with small head. Sweetish and fruity aroma with orange marmelade and hints of sweaty hops. Nutty and biscuity flavor with fruity esters, almonds and candyish-fruity english hops. Dry minerally and bitter finish. A bit watery palate. Basic bitter.

bottle. Looks like iced tea. Cloudy gold/light brown in color.Smells of light spice and fruit. Aroma very much reminiscent of other English ESB’s I have had. Very flat mouth feel. A little bit of hops in the taste but not much. Very heavy on the yeast. Very dry and not really satisfying. Doesn’t even remind me of alcohol. Kind of tastes like a cider.

Bottle at EBF08. Weak fruity aroma. Clear dark amber colour. The flavour is spicy from the hops. Thin to medium mouthfeel.

Bottle 50cl. Clear dark reddish brown, lacy head. Zesty woody hoppy aroma, reminiscent of a mild APA aroma. I like this. Malty with a mild-standard but almost exquisite woody-flowery bitterness. Medium with low carbonation, smooth. Dry woody-ish finish.

500ml bottle. Having this beer for the 2nd time round and what a change. Awful the 2nd time. Tastes of off-cheese. A cross between Hobgoblin or an off Hogs Back T.E.A.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden with a fully gone head. Mild spiced and hoppy aroma. Bitter and mild breadish flavour. Light bitter finish. Simple yet also clean and crisp.

aroma of fruits and malt and some citrusy notes of hops. Flavour is restrained but well balanced with some biterness and notes of fruits. This beer came from a can, I remember drinking this on tap in England and liking it better then.

Bottled. This is a pretty average bitter, a traditional tasting example of the style. It’s a dark amber colour with a woody aroma. The flavour is very well balanced but not particularly striking. Earthiness stands out among the lightly sweet malt and subtle bitterness.
