Aroma very much reminiscent of other English ESB’s I have had. Very flat mouth feel. A little bit of hops in the taste but not much. Very heavy on the yeast. Very dry and not really satisfying. Doesn’t even remind me of alcohol. Kind of tastes like a cider. MiP (9060), Sønderborg, Denmark

Flavour is restrained but well balanced with some biterness and notes of fruits. This beer came from a can, I remember drinking this on tap in England and liking it better then. albertane (376), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England

It’s a dark amber colour with a woody aroma. The flavour is very well balanced but not particularly striking. Earthiness stands out among the lightly sweet malt and subtle bitterness.
