500ml bottle enjoyed at home on a Friday eve. Dark, tan body colour under a creamy, off-white head, some of it remaining all the way. Fresh hoppy aroma with a light, sweet malty impact. Hoppy softness in flavour with hints of caramel malt. Smooth bitterness in the finish. Some crispiness in the palate that prevents the beer from getting a higher score (05.10.2007).

Can. Red/pale brown color and a creamy white head. Nice lacing. Smells of sweet malt, caramel, sweet fruit, citrus, toffee and some floral/spicy notes. Tastes of biscuity/toasted malt, fruit, apricot, citrus, some floral/spicy notes and hop bitterness. A bit dry. Really nice. But the carbonation is a bit too strong. Total score: 3.8 080321: On-tap at The Flying Barrel, Gothenburg. Less carbonated and lower alcohol content. Total score: 3.9

Great caramel aroma and flavor. Good head retention. One of the better Bitters I have had in a while. It would be nice to have this on cask in Britain...I would imagine it would be fantastic.
