Tall head with a fine lace on top and coarser towards the bottom. Head clings to the glas. Somewhat malty, but it is the metallic hops that cut through the nose. Raisins and pepper can also be detected. Light bodied with a bold bitterness and a good dose of malts. Notes of honey flavours. Finishes dry with a good refreshing bitterness. A bit disappointing. Note: Can says alcohol level is 4.5% vol. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2003 The initial reaction to the warm amber colour and malty hop nose is a welcoming thing. The head looks good too. I suppose the problem with ratebeer, that I have cursed more than once, is an expectation of something special. This isn't, but as a beer true to its style it is nevertheless a good beer. Furseth (1339), Kungälv, Sweden
