| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2004 Golden bronze color with light off-white head and some lacing. The aroma is moderately hoppy with some balanced biscuity caramel. The flavor is also balanced with some of the base malts and the initial (but not now) hoppy notes coming through. The finish is nicely acidic with some nuts amd light malts. not too bad, another import, another rating. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2004 Bottled. Deep clear amber colour. Fine white head. Bitter green hop aroma. Both primary and late hoping are distinct. The malt only discernable in the flavour. I’m really enjoying this beer and find it quite distinct. beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2005 Hazey honey colored pour with a small off white head. Aroma is a little bready, yeasty. I don’t get a lot of bitterness out of this. Maybe I’m tainted by the IPA’s recently. I’m not a huge fan of the style....so I’m kind of neutral on this beer. Has an agreeable hoppy aroma that’s mainly herbal, perhaps a bit doughy. Solid malt flavors with perhaps a bit of smokiness and a good bitter rush at the end of each drink. Lingering bitter finish. Tasty stuff.
