Light alcohol (or perhaps very dry ester) notes in the aroma, some hints of bananas and soft, caramelly malt. Flavor of light cardboard, grainy malt, rather toasty on the finish. Medium body. Barely hazy, medium-dark amber with a frothy, hand pumped head. Foam has a rubbery, shiny look and forms nice lacing. Aroma is fairly weak with some hints of grape and cranberry and a little caramel. Tastes fruity with subtle malt and english hops, but not very much caramel or toffee malt, as expected. There is a sharp bitterness that threatenes to linger, but eventually dissipates to a clean finish and a raisiny walnut aftertaste. Medium body and low carbonation.
