| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2009 Bottle at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen Dark brown color; big head. Big aroma, caramel, more fruity than most Belgian beers, candi sugar, a touch of honey, very good. It has a sweetish caramel flavor, some honey is the only degree of complexity; light fruitness. Unfortunately the mouthfeel becomes drier at the end, even a bit metallic. Quite good. bierkoning (6113), La Tropica, Netherlands
