Big aroma of roast malt and cocoa. Minimal to nonexistent tan head over dark reddish brown beer. Full balanced flavour. Not overly complex but delivers a huge hit of roast maltiness with an earthy, leathery yet sweet, cocoa finish.

Bottle at JF’s (from Hogsback shop) 28/10/12.
Mid black with a thin tan head that soon clears to the edge fo the glass.
Big roast malt nose, coffee, barley, backnote of hops.
Tastes of roast malts, liqourice, a little chocolate.
Medium bodied, slightly spritzy carbonation, a little too much for me.
