The color was very light golden. The head was creamy, thin, and white. The aroma was very light grape. The flavor was smokey. The palate was lively. The finish was abrupt.

Jul 16, 2008 On tap. Clear golden color with a medium white head. Mild aroma of biscuits cooked in a broth with smoked ham hocks. Taste is also smokey but very mild, crisp, fairly dry on finish. Goes very well with BBQ on a hot summer day.

Slightly honey-like aroma, some smoke too. Smooth palate - soft but pleasant carbonation. Sweet soft body, slightly honeyey, and with gentle smokiness.

Jul 9, 2008 Golden with a big, nice and creamy head. The aroma has weak notes of smoke, light flower and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of flower, light citrus, light malt and it’s smooth and pleasant. I only find the smoke in the aroma.

Jul 6, 2008 Light lager aroma, you have to search for the smoke. You’d miss it if you didn’t know it was there. First taste I definitely tasted the smoke, but just a hint as described. It definitely makes this otherwise ordinary lager a little special.
