This is really a strange beer: it's not the first smoked beer I've drunk, but I'v never found a beer that has a so strong smoked aroma and taste. The flavour is a little bit salty and spicy and reminded me smokd ham. Really particular, but good, very good!

Pour out of bottle, dark brownish black pour with creamy off white almost tan head, aroma brought big smoked meats, salt, bacon, chocolate, hints of campfire and woody notes, touch of ash but not bad, some nice dark fruits poke their head in as well. Taste is big bacon and chocolate notes, big campfire, roasted, ashy notes, oak and wood come through, hints of fruit, finishing very smoky and dry. Almost a bit unbalanced, but very tasty.

Slightly cloudy dark brown colour with a nice tan head; aroma is smoked wood; flavour is smoke, burnt wood and bitter; an acquired taste I have yet to acquire. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

16.9 oz bottle poured into an imperial pint glass. Pours very dark brown/black with reddish hues. With a large tan head. Smells of smoke, bacon, various smoked meats. Tastes of smoke, bacon, caramel, mostly just smokey bacon though. Nice creamy texture, medium in carbonation. Not bad I suppose but I’m not sure smoked beers are my thing.

Det bästa rökölet enligt mitt tycke. Doft och smak av tjära, järnvägsslipers, röktkorv. En upplevelse.

500 mL bottle. Poured a deep reddish black, a thick beige head and good lacing. Deep smoked aroma, a little dusty. Reminiscent of all my favorite smoked foods, brisket, ribs, katsuobushi. Finishes with a little malt bit and very little carbonation. This is my first smoke beer and it’s a little hard to pull other flavors out of this, some soy sauce like notes and more wood. Interesting, would be willing to try more of these.

This was my first smoked beer. It sure was interesting to sense smoked meat in it. Dark brown color with thin head. It was very dry and strong smell of smoke. Maybe little too strong smoke aroma. Next time i will drink it with grill food, I have one in my refrigerator waiting for this occasion.

Bottle, poured a dark copper brown color with medium head. Big, big smoke aroma, roasted malt, bacon. Light bitter. Medium body. Creamier texture. Softer carbonation. Caramel malt and oak comes out in taste with lots of smoke and roasted malt. Pretty smooth smoked beer.

Pours a very dark red colour with a short lived white head. Aroma is smoky with notes of wood. Taste is also smoky and notes of wood. Finish is dry. Slightly watery texture. I quite like the smokiness although I’d like to taste some other flavours as well.

Pours a very nice deep ruby brown with a frothy off white head. Nose is smoky meats, with wood and saltiness. Light brown sugar sweetness and roast on the entry leading into nice flavorful smoked meatiness with some tree bark. Finishes dry and a bit salty. Tasty beer.
