Bottle, pours hazy copper, with big beige head. Good lacing. Aroma is mailny smoked and becon, but there are also noticable typical weizen aromas: cloves and banana. In taste: medium bitterness, smoke some weizen notes. Medium to light body, smoky-bitter aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
399 on sale at Le Bon Marché in Itami. Served in a weizen glass. It poured a clear dark brown with ruby highlights & a giant beige head. Wonderful smokey aroma with hints of bacon and maybe even some subtle weizen notes. Medium to full bodied, smooth with a zesty light carbonation. The taste is smoke malts, smoked ham, bacon, some cloves in the finish & yes some yeasty weizen notes but the smoked malts dominate. Damn fine beer though.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear dark brown color with nice creamy head. Aroma: Smooth smoky, smoked (ham, bacon) - for me nice. Taste is a nice blend of smooth smoked (bacon, ham), wheat malts, a bit fruity (plums, cherries). Semi-sweet, with medium body and high/medium carbonation. Good, easy drinkable smoked weizen.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: hazy tea color with very nice head. Smokyness in aroma. Smoked ham, smoked bacon. Taste: again the same kind of smokyness. Sweetness coming form wheat. For me could be a bit more bitter. Sweetness is a bit overwhelming. Overall quite pleasant beer to drink.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Brown, foggy with a thick white head. Aroma has smoked salami, some fruit.
Taste has sour fruit, some grain. Yeasty overall. Some smoke on the background, but not as much as on the aroma. Light aftertaste. Quirky, but I wouldn't make this my go-to beer.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smoky, but not too intense. Slightly sweet aromas from the wheat. Medium body. Definitely makes me think of bacon, barbecue, veggies on the grill, like eggplant. Surprisingly easy to drink, not really the style I usually go for, but it?s a nice change of pace. Paired with fried food.

Grumsete brun i fargen med beige lavt skum. Røkt skinkelukt. Røkt korn, hvete i smak. Mye smak, men den forsvinner fort.

Murky brown beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Light creamy malt, tangy dried fruits. The smoke is not too acrid but there is a lot of it. Minerally semi dry finish. A bit smoky but it is drinkable.
