Poured a murky medium brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of gently smoked malt and a little hint of the wheat. Medium body, flavour of sweet Smokey wheat. Nice.

From LCBO. Smells like bacon! Warm light brown with white head. Malty undertone in aroma. Smokey smooth flavour.

Kolor: bursztynowym, zmętniony.
Piana: obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa, zwarta, trwała.
Zapach: dominują aromaty wędzone, na drugim planie banany i goździki, wyczuwalne nuty karmelowe.
Smak: piwo dość rześkie, średnio pełne, wyraźne nuty wędzone, ale obecne są również aromaty pszenicy, goździki, banaty, tak jak w aromacie wyczuwalny karmel, goryczka średnia lekko dymna.
Wysycenie: średnie w kierunku wysokiego.

Pours a slightly hazy brownish pour with huge head. Tons of bbq and hickory with some bacon and smoke. A bit of fruit pie too. Medium body hickory taste. Decent length. Pretty good.

The beer poured a reddish-brown with a half inch thin white head. The aroma was baked ham, smoke, and weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is wheat, smoked wood, and baked ham. Quite good.

Pours cloudy amber-golden, almost no head.
Simple yet intense aromas: smoke, coal, caramel.
Medium body, a little watery. Smoke on the water... I mean on the aftertaste (I had to do it). Simple but nice.

500ml bottle. Cloudy copper with a frothy off-white head. Flavors are wheat, banana, cherry, citrus, charred wood, smoked ham, salt and pepper with fruity and nutty notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, watery texture.

I’m going to go about rating this beer different than usual. It’s not about the first sip, which is all salty smoke sausage, it’s about the taste after acclimatizing to the sausage-fest flavour and then enjoying the ride. Once I’m over the sausage-smack to the face, you begin to pick up a nice sweetness that helps balance out the smoke blast, with softer hay malts that undoubtedly is thanks to the unsmoked wheat in this brew. Overall not bad, but not a sipper, commit and enjoy.

Bottle @Fermenteam tasting! Thanks to Lukas&Alex! Pours a hazy, Dark brown with a medium sized, off White head. Aroma is really smokey with some fruity notes. Banana, peat, leathery dry, smokey wood. Taste is not as all so smokey, but has sweet wheat fruity notes. Slight caramel, slight leather. A treat indeed!

Old rating. Don't like this one as much as the other Aecht beers. Thinner. Still has nice rich ham and campfire profile but the wheat body doesn't hold up as well. Still tasty.

Bottle->lager. Murky chestnut brown with big frothy offwhite head. Ugly. A: smoke, wheat, grains, earth. T: same, with a lingering smoky aftertaste. Not as deep as Schlenkerla’s other rauchbiers.
