RCL (942), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Feb 17, 2008 This is a nice smoked beer. The smoke is clearly there, but not at all overpowering. Fairly dry with just a tiny hint of sweetness, like a lightly burnt cake or candy. Very pleasant to drink.
dalepryor (145), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2008 this is amazing, i can’t taste wheat whatsoever but i feel like i am inhaling smoke from a BBQ and eating sausage at the same time. bhensonb (2670), Woodland, California, USA Jun 24, 2008 500 ml bottle. Dark amber color with a smokey beige head that was rather light. Aroma of smoked cheese. Near medium body with fizzy frothy carbonation. Flavor is smoked cheese. Finish is like the smoked cheese is eaten, but the flavors linger. Sure not getting any clove or banana!!!!! Pretty dry finish. thejon375 (79), Tampa, Florida, USA Jun 17, 2008 What an interesting beer. Tasted like I was drinking ribs. Very smokey aroma and flavor. Different and weird in a great way. I think every beer lover should try this!! yespr (5258), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky brown with a huge, creamy and tan head. Smoked tar and rubber aroma, bonfire notes too. Flavour is solid smoked. Light tarish note and somewhat rubber like towards leathery. Ends dry and with a mild wheat eastery note. The wheat does provide a light ester note and creamy feel throughout, but obviously is this beer dominated by the smoke. Pwn3d (571), Connecticut, USA Jun 8, 2008 Bottle from Stateline Liquors. Aroma is straight bacon bits, basically exactly. Taste is intially bacon but backed by some tasty wheat flavors - my favorite smoked offering so far.
