COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Skål for godt samarbeid!

(Bottle, 0.5 l - , at Ølhus Stockholm, 20140702) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, tangerine and mildly spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, mildly spiciness, Belgian style yeast. malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, spicy and bitter. The flavours and scents in this beer were surprisingly mild. Not bad but didn’t stand out enough.

My Bottom Line:
Lemon peel allusions and quiet cereals merge in this pleasant but forgettable Saison.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the cloudy straw.
-Mouthfeel could be more effervescent and expansive for the style.
-The citrusy fruitiness increases drinkability.
-This is far from the world class nature of Tank 7...

Bottle.

Dark straw colour, white head with little retention. Aromas of pilsner malt, belgian yeast, some flowers. Taste is initially spicy, going into a mild blonde-like taste.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, lemons, and a bit of malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle. An unclear orange-colored beer topped by an off-white head of finger-thick size. The aroma is fruity-sweet, with some peppery hints, saison style yeast and canned peaches. A delicate touch of lemongrass is in the far back, don’t think I’d detected it without reading the ingredients list. Some white sugar notes, leading my thoughts more to a Belgian blond or triple, but the yeast impact doesn’t suggest so. There’s a pleasant peppery and lemongrassy flavor on the tip of the tongue, some bitterness to deal with the sweetness and a little yeasty note, but overall I find it too sugary sweet on the palate. It’s full-bodied and with a nice carbonation level, and semi-dry even though both aroma and flavor suggests the opposite. Dryish and bitter finish with a lot of fruityness, canned peaches mostly. Well, it’s not that the beer is bad in any way, it’s just a bit boring, and way too sweetish for a saison I think. Probably won’t buy more of this. 140508
