COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of grain, faint hops, grass and some herbal notes. Flavor is the same with mild caramel. Not very good.

Draught. Clear reddish amber color with a big off-white head that quickly settles. The nose is very fruity, loads of red apple, sweet malts, orchard fruity notes. The taste is quite sweet and simple, malt-focussed. The palate is light, but quite creamy. The carbonation’s quite soft. Overall, a really nice, orchard lager. Simple, tasty.

On tap at Cask Pub & Kitchens Norwegian Beer Festival. Clear amber beer, not much of a head. Crispish palate but it turns much softer and creamier. Minerals and super mild hop finish things up. Decent but very much like the Raller but without the apple.

Bottle and tap. Pours with a relatively transparent amber color, culminating in a medium-sized, well-retained light tan head. The lacing is sticky and fairly tight. The nose is mostly malts with hints of citrus. The taste is malty and sweet, with a transition to a lightly hoppy bitterness in the finish. Certainly not the best from Ægir, but it’s worth a try and I’d probably try it again.
