2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask @ Grünerløkka Brygghus. Pours a clear copper-reddish body with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma is kinda pale maltish, grainy and notes of some thin bitter caramel. Lively to average carbonation, oily to watery on the palate and light to medium-bodied. Tastes light maltish, notes of some hops in the background, hints of thin caramel, nuts and something that can remind me of wood. Really drinkable, but perhaps for me a bit boring.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Golden, hazy, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, grassy hoppyness and some caramel. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel and grassy hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, faint caramel with grassy hoppyness, some metal flavor in the finish. Dryish lightly hopped lager – nothing wrong, nothing special.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: APR 23, 2012 500ml bottle (K Market, Kamppi)
7 Lovely fruity aroma, packed full of berries and fleshy fruits.
3+ Hazy copper, brief head.
6- Slightly sour grainy and caramelly taste. Plenty of fruity retronasals still.
3- A little thin, but sweet, above average carbonation. Slightly carbonic bitterness.
10 Started so well, but fades rapidly as soon as it hits the mouth. It’s a quirky lager, which is nice, but it’s not got everything in place to stun. Wateriness is a big issue. I reckon they could do a 6% version of this that was really good. It actually tastes like it’s diluted with soda water.
Rerate: 500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Pretty similar, but this time it doesn’t fade, and doesn’t get watery, so giving it an extra point overall.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger in June 2011.
Hazy reddish/copper with a small white head. Not that exciting. Mostly bread, grain and nuts. Drinkable but a bit boring.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nett! 12/9/9/10/7/8

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled 500ml (BB 04/2012)
Clear amber color, small white head. Wood, grassy aroma. Light to medium bodied. Grassy hoppyness, dry maltyness. Finish is a bit watery ... this would be better with a bit more alcohol. Malty lager. Well-brewed but perhaps only use for this would be with food.
