COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Tap @ Naboen, Bergen. Deep coppery orange body with a medium creamy top that sticks around for a while. Nose is mild floral hops and slightly roasted malts. Taste is equally mild, with a smooth maltiness rounded off with a grassy hop aftertaste. Pleasant session beer smooth palate. Nice, but a bit boring. Ægir Brime Red Lager could work in the summer time, I guess, but otherwise I’d rather have some of their other beers.

Tap during onsdag^2 at Cardinal. Hazy light orange body with a creamy off-white head. Good lacing. Sweet sweaty, gym bag aroma. Sweet, bitter, acidic flavors. Medium body. Dry palate. Leaves a blandish impression taste- and aroma wise, but is easy to drink.

Tap@Brewery. Dark bronze beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped and quite bitter, and the flavour is well hopped and quite bitter with a very dry roasted finish. Overall a nice very well hopped and roasted bitter beer.

Bottle (50cl) from Meny (Grønland), Oslo. BB 26.4.2012. Two-inch off-white head, fairly stable, coarse bubbles, good lacing. Hazy reddish orange colour. Fruity (apricot?) caramel malt aroma. Light-to-medium bodied, lively carbonation gives a nice ’filling’ mouthfeel. Well-balanced with a good, lasting hop bitterness. Thoroughly drinkable.
