COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle at Olympen. Hazy amber, small head. Tropical fruits aroma. Well-balanced fruity and bready flavours, quite refreshing. Not very complex, but some originality spotted.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s an orange-red to copper beer, clear, with a finger-thick off-white to beige head. Fruity nose with caramel sweetness in the back, and some peach and citrusy hops. The flavor is a nice blend of caramel sweetness and citrusy hops, with citruspeel and grapefruit. Medium body, smooth and nicely carbonated. Some apricot in the finish. A very refreshing, quenching and balanced beer. (090528)

Brown plae colour in a very fine special glass for this beer. Floral aroma, refreshing ans slight malty taste. It has a short but firm after taste with memories of peaches.

22 July at Cardinal. Amber red. Pretty sweet. Some bitter aftertaste. Not memorable, but quite OK. Great glass from Ægir though.

50cl bottle at Olympen. It poured an amber red and cloudy colour with a big white creamy head. The aroma is fresh and malty. Flavour is sweet and also malty. It was served too cold, but in 30 C it was very nice. It has a short aftertaste.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, served in correct Ægir glass. Also available bottled. ABV is 4.7%. Deep amber colour, moderate off-white head, leaving a nice lacing. Nutty and toffee aroma, also notes of red berries, hints of butterscotch. The flavour is fairly dry (much drier than a dunkel) and nutty, with decent (German?) hops.
