On tap at Cardinal. Black with a small beige head. Roasted malts nose with noticeable chocolate. The beer comes awake in the mouth with a fiery chili flavours blending with chocolate. Special.

Black in colour. Coffee in aroma. Slightly sour taste, with heavy chili aftertaste. Perhaps slightly short taste. First brew was more complex and in harmony, and had thicker mouthfeel. Still not bad :-)

On tap @ Cardinal, Stavanger. Pitch black body, medium creamy off-white head. Nose is licorice, dark chocolate, coffee and hints of chili and bready caramel. Taste is dark chocolate, chili, coffee and hints of caramel in the back. Full body, medium carbonation. Nice and smooth, with just enough chili to make the little interesting burn.

Poured a healthy dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet milk chocolatey malt and the chili. Medium to full body, flavour as the aroma, the chili is well balanced and doesn’t overpower. It does linger for a long time however.....

On tap @ Henrik. Deep dark brown - as good as black in the glass with a really good looking dense brown top. Loads of chocolate on the aroma, cocoa powder, sweet licorice and roasted malts. Vanilla is also present. A fine aroma indeed! Creamy silky mouthfeel with a small prickling carbonation level. The flavor contains of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts, and the chili? Yeah, it tingles both on the tongue and back in the throat. Not as much chocolate in the taste as it was in the aroma, but I highly enjoyed this anyway. Recommended! 08.03.2013

Pours a completly black colour with a brown head. Aroma of raosted malts, some yeast and leather. Flavour is really good. Was afraid the chili might be a bit too dominating, but this is not the case. It’s well balanced between the chili, the roasted malts and som really dark chocolate. Smooth palate with medium body and low carbonation. I would easilly have this one again.
