Bottle thanks to Rune and Finn on their London holiday Nov 2012. Hazy copper brown golden with lasting beige head. Drunk at home listening to Lloyd Cole and the Commotions so I was in a really good mood. Some spiciness in the aroma. Bit of fish oil in the flavour that’s weird. Some ok malts, but the finish is just about the fish oil and the moderate hoppy bitter finish. Obviously the herring factory in Flam must be next to the brewery. Decent mid style bitter. Not sure I’d say an APA. Malts are fine. Yeah fine.

On tap at Cardinal. Slightly hazy, orangey golden beer topped by a two finger off-white to beige head. Citrus, apricot and sugary malty sweetness on the nose. The fruits are running the show. Nicely balanced flavor with peachy and citrusy hops still doing most of the work. Full-bodied and super smooth in the mouth. Pleasant bitterness in the finish. Tasteful and easy drinkable beer I would love to have access to at my local. 091106
