Bottle thanks to Rune and Finn on their London holiday Nov 2012. Hazy copper brown golden with lasting beige head. Drunk at home listening to Lloyd Cole and the Commotions so I was in a really good mood. Some spiciness in the aroma. Bit of fish oil in the flavour that’s weird. Some ok malts, but the finish is just about the fish oil and the moderate hoppy bitter finish. Obviously the herring factory in Flam must be next to the brewery. Decent mid style bitter. Not sure I’d say an APA. Malts are fine. Yeah fine.

Bottled (backlog). Ambery brown colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toasted malts, mild bready notes along with some caramel and quite strong grassy and floral notes. Flavour is nutty, mildly toasted, some bready and caramelly notes along with quite strong wooden and floral notes to it.

Brown 50cl bottle abv6%, tan head, amber-copper body, clear, tiny lacings. Resin, bitter, ash, barbecue, roasted malts, dark burnt fruits, to the nose. Tongue detects resin, dark smoked malts, dark syrup and fruits, burnt out site. Body good. Carbonation ok, nice balance and taste overall. Finishes in same track, barbecue feeling with bitter that lingers a bit. B@Vinmonopolet, shared with my wife at home.

@basunen: ganska lätt doft. Smaken är fint balanserad med en örtig humle. En ganska enkel och snäll apa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fresh and spicy ale, with a good amount of hops as well. Will suit the afternoon in summer or aperitif when nice days have gone.
