Norwegian: Dette er en karakteristisk IPA frå den amerikanske vestkyststilen. Kjenneteikn ved dette ølet er ein fengjande humlearoma og ein solid bitterheit. IPA går godt med litt robust mat, men kan også nytast åleine.

English: This is an IPA in the style known from the American west coast.

Thanks to Club Gonzo for the bottle and the trade. Poured a clear orange gold color. Big, fluffy white head. Solid two finger head that on receding left nice thick lacing. Looks very nice. Good nose of fresh cut grass, orange and tangerine sherbert. Nice, lively nose. Lots of sorbet notes in the taste. Mostly mandarin orange and tangerine. Some bitterness in the back but mostly bright citrus notes. Bits of oilyness in the mouth. Nice long lasting feel of orange and bright citrus. Solid stuff. Really likeable IPA. Would want this again.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with a big white foamy/creamy head that leaves lace. Aroma is grass, fruits, some floral notes along with some bready and quite sweet malts. Flavour is rather similar with some slight sprucelike notes. Pleasantly balanced hops and malts.

50cl bottle shared with Ted of Amon Amarth, thanks for bringing this from Scandinavia.

Copper color. Nose is citrus. Aroma of citrus, pines and a crisp hops finish. Decent IPA brew!

On tap at brewery in Flam and bottled from a liquor store in Voss: Pour is copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus and pine in the way of the hops. Hops are rather mild in the taste, in the sense that they are not very much brutal. The flavor profile is very much West Coast though, even though it is less intense. Sweet malts are more present. Nice aftertaste. I was expecting a little bit less, but instead got a pretty dope IPA. Nice bottle design as well.

Draught @ Amundsen Bryggeri. Amber coloured beer with some medium carbonation and an average white head. Rather special fruiy hoppy, hopflower hinted bitter touched aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is bitter hoppy and little fruity. Rather mainstream IPA but enjoyable.

Aroma of hay, barnyard, citrus and grapefruit. Long, bitter aftertaste. One of the better IPA’s i’ve tried. Have had this one many times before, and this one is’nt going to be the last! Splendid!
