3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour. Rich head. Hoppy nose, citrusfruits and some polleny honeycomb. Slightly glue-like and yeasty. Somehow sugary and shallow malt body. Good hop bite. Nice and smooth texture.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance is light orange, hazy with a frothy foam top.
Hops are dominant with a citrusy taste. Taste is medium sweet and
beautifully bitter. Full body, creamy, lively, bitter finish. This is a wonderful beer, one of the best IPAs I’ve ever had. I don’t know what could have made this better.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle @ Gastropub Nordic.
Pours a slightly unclear copper/orange colour with a large foamy head. Aroam of strong grassy hops, caramel and peach. Flavour of mild berries, sweet hops, caramel and pine needles with tropical fruits. Medium bodied with a dry, mild hoppy and fruity finish. Needs more hops, other than that just great.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled on draught at the brewery and later in bottle from Vinmonopolet in Tromso. The excellence of this beer is in its relative lightness, which nonetheless allows massive flavours to come in but still appear balanced. That is some trick. Clever brewing. Not just a good NAEIPA (Norwegian American English India Pale Ale) but a great one.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours with a medium amber color, releasing a modestly hopped and fruity aroma, most notably citrus. Actually, the aroma is fantastic! This IPA is pretty well balanced – respectably bitter yet diverse in flavor that’s sweet in the front and bitter in the finish. Tastes is slightly less fantastic than the smell, but still excellent. It’s a must try for IPA lovers.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This could in fact be my favorite beer, and certainly my favorite IPA at the moment. I love everything about it from the size of the bottle to the label design, to the hoppy citrus aroma to the foggy orange appearance to the glorious fizzy mouthfeel to the dry and not-too-bitter ending. I hope that this summer I can get my hands on some.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2012 Bottle. Golden hazy with a dense white head that leaves nice laces on glass. Aroma is dominated by grass and citrus. Body is sweet medium bodied with a good hoppy finish, but not as hoppy as you might expect from an IPA
