Norwegian: Dette er en karakteristisk IPA frå den amerikanske vestkyststilen. Kjenneteikn ved dette ølet er ein fengjande humlearoma og ein solid bitterheit. IPA går godt med litt robust mat, men kan også nytast åleine.

English: This is an IPA in the style known from the American west coast.

Tap @Ægir brewpub Flåm 140609. Clear amber orange, medium off-white head, good retention; aroma of bread, lemon, citrus, pine; moderate bitter taste, citrus notes; medium body, medium carbonation, oily texture; dry medium and mild bitter finish. Not a full-blown American IPA but rather good anyway.

Bottle during beer tasting at the Bunker, Copenhagen. Pours amber with thick off-white head. Hoppy but not quite bitter, fruity, citrus, sweet for an IPA.

Pours cloudy golden, head is slightly tan. Aroma is hoppy with pine. Tadte has lots of hops, balanced with malts.

My Bottom Line:
Earthy hop resins grow through caramel malts in this simple, bitter IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the hazy pale amber.
-Straightforward barley sugar notes are tasted.
-Carbonation is prickly, which enhances the bitter finish.
-Hop aromas and malt flavors weren’t that well defined.

On tap at Café Tre Bror, Voss.

Drinking from tab. Peaches, fruity aroma. It’s a clear, orange beer with a small white head. Some bitter in the taste, but not that much for an IPA. Not really fruity either. Citrus. High carbonated.

On draught.
Pours a rust color with a fluffy off white head and good lacing on the glass.

The aroma is leafy, lightly malty, and lightly sweet... fairly hoppy, generally fine enough.

The flavor has that cool not overly sweet but still has a bunch of honey flavor to it thing. It’s mildly bitter, floral, lightly melony. Overall it seems dominantly a honey forward beer with is sort of delicious, but not really something I wish for in an IPA.

Tap at konttori, tampere. Little hazy deep golden color, white head. Aroma is malty, fresh hops, sweet notes. Malty body, fresh hops, dry end. Little bit too malty, but fresh hops saves a lot.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2015 Bottle. More to my taste now. Caramelly, malty, but still with a good sweetish hoppy sense. Clean, really like the slight chewy body. Up from 3.4

Tap@ahven. Copper clear. Piney, herby hops with a floral tone, crunchy malty caramels. Some tropicals. Nice full well bitterd body. Piney hops, but quite well balanced. Like it. Not overly hopped, but slightly bready.
