500 ml bottle. Really hazy amber body with floaters and a diminishing off-white head. The aroma is dominated by cinnamon and some ginger. Flavor is rather sweet and fruity with the obvious spices and a well-balanced bitterness. Quite nice and interesting, but not in position to be a regular treat.

Bottle. It’s a clear, copper-colored gusher with a dense, beige head. There’s a faint note of acidity in the aroma, wit some cinnamon, but mostly promises of sweetness. A little fruityness also blends in. Sweet and fruity flavor with a hint of sour fruits, and a balancing bitterness. The cinnamon comes stronger towards the end. Full body. A quite nice beer, but a bit too odd to do as a regular. 090828

From bottle@RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. A layer of greyish bubbles upon a hazy, orangey-brown body. Predominant spice nose. Cinnamon of coarse, but also notes of ginger and cardamomme. A refined, sweetish malt scent is there to balance. Taste is medium sweet and malty, yet crisp. The spices added blends very well in, harmonious and balanced. Some fruit tones underneath, some noticable bittering hops, too. Healthy body. Slick in the mouth. Rounded malt/spice ending. Great stuff.

Bottle, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. ABV was 6%. Orange to amber colour, low head. The aroma has notes of cinnamon and other undefined spices, some American hops. The flavour has notes of cinnamon, but they are not overdone, and blend in quite nicely with the malts and hops.

Bottle. Fruity aroma with the cinnamon clearly present. Redcurrants, sweet malt. cinnamon. I would have liked a bit more bitterness here. A perfect beer for desserts and apple pie.
