2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 7/20 Holmen1 (91) - - MAY 8, 2012
Lyst og lett, forfriskende. Fint skum som imidlertid gir seg fort. Ble raskt litt flatt i smaken. Trenger ikke prøve den igjen.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 jikvig (267) - NORWAY - MAY 2, 2011
Quick-review: Hazy yellowish. Fruit, grass and alittle herbs.
Same on the palate, with more malt. Medium - body, alittle dull prehaps. Alittle "edgy", rough.
Biggish offwhite head. Hazy yellow body. Dense mealy fruity rubbery grassy aroma, quite harmonic, with malty notes. Dry-sweet rubbery floral grassy taste with fruity bready notes. Sharp edge to it. A bit stale. Dry grassy aftertaste with chalky notes. Nice, but kölsch isn’t really my thing. (0.5l bottle from Fenaknoken.)

Hazy, pale golden with a creamy, finger thick white head leaving excellent foam lacing. Band aid, grains grass and sweet herbs are present in the aroma. Sweet flavor with a light lasting bitternes that seem to build upon each mouthfull. Grassy, fruity with cereal notes and also some acidity to be noticed. Carbonation is prickling and the texture is juicy. LKight to medium body. A real summer refreshment from tap at Cardinal as Ægir Cardinal Kvase Kölsch

50cl bottle from Fenaknoken. Batch 044KK. It poured a pale yellow colour with a big white foamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. The aroma is dry and smells of grass, malts and a hint of cardboard. The flavour is bittersweet and fruity with notes of malts, grain and a few hints of citrus. It has a short aftertaste.

Light smell of fresh grassy hops. Very mild and gentle flavour of sherbet hops with backdrops of lemon and peach. Dry ending. Medium mouthfeel and easy drinking (05.07.2008).
