bottle thanks to Rune and Finn. Thanks guys. Bottle drunk at home whilst waiting for some rice to boil to go with my thai red curry after a mixed day at work. Both unbelievably depressed and also so happy I will meet all my targets for the year by the first week of December. Deep brown red colour with lasting bubbly beige head. Slightly smoked aroma. More smoke and peat in the mouth. Blimey that’s quite juicy in the malts as well as some peaty smoke. Interesting beer. Some good juicy hedgerow fruits from the malts. A little prickle on the finish. But also some sweetness. Pretty decent to be honest. Good balance between sweet fruit and peaty smoke. Good. thanks guys.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Peated smoke aroma, chocolate, toffee, soot, some dark fruits, malty, some biscuits. Malty toffee and caramel flavor, peated, soot, figs, fruity, roasted, smoke, raisins, some hops. Smoke/peat is well balanced in the flavor, this is a really good beer.

Bottle at home. The colour is clear deep brown, with a very small beige head. Aromas of dark wood, brown sugar, leather, barbecue sauce and hint of smoke. More smoke in the flavour along with burned wood, oak, leather, dark chocolate and alcohol. Slick and smooth mouth feel. Bitterness = light+. A fantastic beer in both aroma and taste.

500 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Bryne. Aroma is some berrys, roasted barley, yeast and fresh wort. Sweet caramel and peat flavour, with a well rounded hop finish. Very well balanced with loads of nuances to be enjoyed througout. A bit over carbonated for my personal preferance, but still a very smooth and enjoyable ale, that i will not hessitated to drink again under the right circumstances.
